Famous Advocate Mukesh Rajput contested for the post of Vice President for the dignity of lawyers

While talking to the media today, Mukesh Rajput, Advocate Candidate for Vice President Post, Delhi Bar Association said, I am contesting for the post of Vice President of Delhi Bar Association to restore the respect of all the advocates and the pride of the bar, for which I have issued the objective in my pledge letter.
1. Along with NGOs, women advocates should also be appointed in the CAW Cell for hearing family matters.
2. The same admission facility that is given to the children of central government employees in Kendriya Vidyalayas should also be given to the children of advocates.
3. The struggle will continue to reserve at least two seats for lawyers in every bogie of Public Transport Delhi Metro and DTC buses.
4. The railway reservation counter in the Tis Hazari court complex was working earlier, now it has been closed, it should be started again as soon as possible. And lawyers should be provided with 24 hours Tatkal ticket facility through special Tatkal scheme for judicial work.
5. An advocate coming to a state from another state for legal work should be provided with the facility of staying for at least three days in any building or circuit house under the state government and central government on the recommendation of the local bar.
6. To get the Advocate Security Bill passed, a big movement should be organized by taking all the Bar Associations of Delhi together and this movement should be continued till the Advocate Security Bill is passed.
7. The dress of waiters in marriages and other parties, black pants, white shirt and black coat, should be banned immediately. Due to lack of time, fellow lawyers go directly from the court to some function and seeing the dress of the waiters, the dignity of the lawyers gets hurt, due to which we lawyers feel embarrassed.
8. Various tribunals like NCLT, DRT, CONSUMER FORUM etc. should be in the district court premises itself so that the valuable time of the advocate is not wasted and judicial work can be completed in the district court itself.
9. About 50 percent of the lawyers practicing in Delhi live on rent and practice with full honesty. Delhi government should pay 50 percent of the rent to such tenant lawyers as subsidy.
10. Young advocates should get at least Rs. 10,000/- as stipend for the first three years of their practice.
11. A common hall should be built for young advocates in which locker facility should be available.
12. In the lady bar rooms in the Tis Hazari court complex, essential items related to women should be available at all times.
13. The facility of CRECHE (palan-ghar) should be available on priority basis in the Tis Hazari court complex.
14. At least 3 out of 14 seats of Delhi Bar Association (DBA) should be reserved for women.
15. Free high-speed Wi-Fi internet facility should be available in every block of Tis Hazari Court complex.
16. A permanent election commission should be formed by calling a general body meeting for the election of Delhi Bar Association (DBA), which should take charge of the Bar Association as soon as the time period is over and conduct elections on time so that there is no need to get an order from the Hon'ble High Court to conduct elections. Two-thirds of the members of the Election Commission should be changed every year.
17. The bus (destination) going from one court to other courts of Delhi should be restarted. And the Delhi government should be forced to provide 50 percent subsidy in the bus fare in the interest of justice.
